Reima Second hand Terms and conditions
Reima Second Hand Service Terms and ConditionsThe Reima Second Hand service operates in Finland and is available to consumer customers of Reima Europe Oy (“Reima”). The program is managed by the Finnish company Ninyes Oy. By submitting clothes through the service, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Eligible Products
Please ensure that the items you return are included in our brand list. You can check the list here: https://ninyes.fi/pages/resale. Note that we do not compensate for items outside the listed brands. If you choose a Reima gift card as compensation, at least one of the items you send must be Reima. Items must be intact, clean, tidy, and suitable for resale. The brand label on the clothing must be intact. Additionally, the estimated resale price of the items must be at least €10. Ninyes Oy will assess and determine the resale price after receiving the items.
Delivering Items
Send your your resalable, used children’s clothes via UPS service or to any Reima store in Finland - there is no separate delivery fee in this case. We will prepay the shipping costs and deduct €5.90 from the gift card value. Always pack items carefully in a durable bag or box. We do not compensate for items left loose in the return box or damaged due to poor packaging.
Gift Card
You will receive a gift card in exchange for the used clothes you provide. The value of the gift card is based on the estimated second-hand resale price of the returned clothes. Depending on the gift card you choose and the estimated resale price, the compensation will range from 50% to 80% of the estimated resale price as follows:
If the estimated resale price is under €80 = compensation is 60% of the estimated resale price
If the estimated resale price exceeds €80 = compensation is 80% for the portion exceeding €80
If you choose a Stockmann gift card (applied for Finland), your compensation will be 50% of the estimated resale price.
A handling fee of €2.80 per item will always be deducted from the gift card value. You will receive the gift card by email approximately 2-3 weeks after you have dropped off your clothes at Reima or sent them by post. The Reima gift card can be used in Reima stores, online shop, and the Reima app. It is valid for six months from the issue date. If you chose a Stockmann gift card, it can be collected three business days after receiving the gift card instructions by email from Stockmann’s service desk on the 8th floor of the Helsinki department store during opening hours. You have two months to collect the gift card. It cannot be redeemed after the deadline. More information about Stockmann gift cards can be found on Stockmann’s website.
Items Not Accepted
The goal of the service is to give all clothes a new user. However, sometimes an item does not meet the service requirements and is not suitable for resale. Ninyes Oy has the sole right to assess and determine whether an item meets the criteria of the Reima Second Hand service. If you want rejected items returned to you, the shipping cost is €8.90 per return. Alternatively, you can collect them free of charge from Ninyes Oy’s office: Ninyes Oy, Dosentintie 7D, 00330 Helsinki / Mon-Thu 13:00-17:00. You can also choose to donate rejected items free of charge to Hope ry charity or for textile recycling.
Lost Resale Shipment
If your Resale shipment is lost during delivery, Ninyes will first attempt to locate it with the carrier. You can file a claim for a lost Resale shipment if the package has not arrived within 30 days of the estimated arrival date and the carrier cannot locate the package or provide a new delivery estimate. For the claim, we need a receipt or electronic proof that the package was handed over and registered with the carrier. The same conditions apply to shipments left at Ninyes drop-off points. We will compensate lost Resale shipments at €10 per item, up to a maximum of €50 per shipment, in the form of a Ninyes gift card. Providing up-to-date contact details is important. We need your name, phone number, and email address. By using the service, you agree that we may send you messages related to the service and compensation. More information on how Ninyes Oy processes personal data can be found here: https://ninyes.fi/pages/ninyes-tietosuojakaytanto. Ninyes Oy or Reima are not responsible for any costs or delays if the customer provides incorrect or incomplete contact details, fails to read messages sent to them, or does not respond. We also do not process or compensate shipments missing the customer’s name and contact details. We only process shipments with a properly completed Resale form and accepted terms and conditions.
