My son loves it. It gets put on quickly and keeps him nice and warm even in these sub-zero temperatures. However, due to the lacing (lacking the ability to bind/tighten firmly), a stable fixation is not possible. Therefore, in my view, it is not suitable for longer forest walks or going up/down hills. The sole has already worn down partially after only a short use on the way to school. I've noticed lately that the quality of the shoe soles is declining significantly.
