    Not worth it - nice but one-time use only

    I bought two for my children who go to forest school. I thought they would make good replacements for the Polarn O. Pyret hats that were starting to be outgrown after 3 years. I am used to washing wool items on a short delicate cold cycle with just a few drops of a special wool detergent before systematically air-drying them. Our Polarn O. Pyret hats were washed dozens of times and remained in perfect shape. Those Reima hats were washed exactly ONCE before they were ruined. They shrank(!) so much, they became useless to my 6-year-olds and can't even be worn by an infant!

    Cozy hat that the child likes! Fits well under the play helmet! Love that it covers the ears without going down over the eyes! I put it on in the appropriate size, but it is a bit on the larger side without being too big! She will be able to wear it for a while though!
