ReimaTec
Our biggest innovation, ReimaTec, is a durable and sustainable waterproof coating that we use in almost all in our outerwear. It’s durable, breathable and made to keep kids comfy in rain, wind, snow and even sun. A non-toxic DWR (durable water repellency) finish on the surface ReimaTec fabrics repels water and dirt, so there’s less laundry: very often you can just wipe the garment clean.
Safe in the sun with Reima SunProof
Reima SunProof clothes make playtime in the sun safer for children and more carefree for adults. There are two kinds of protection in our clothing:
1. The non-elastic, woven SunProof fabric in shorts and hats has a safe surface finish that blocks harmful rays. Already before appying the finish, the UPF of the material is 40+.
2. The protection in other Reima UV protective clothes is based on the fabric itself: its structure and color. Reima SunProof jersey regularly gets an UPF 50+
How do we find out what the UV protection factor is? We use a standard lab test to define it, and we only communicate the UPF for fabrics that we've tested.

Reima BugProof clothing keeps the adventure going, as it efficiently repels insects: mosquitoes, ticks, mites, chiggers, fleas, and flies! BugProof clothes have a surface finish that contains efficient plant-based insect repellants. The mild lemonish scent of the finish is very faint and pleasant for humans. Insects, however, don't like it, so they won't land on the fabric and will avoid it. This durable finish keeps its efficiency very well, for even more than 50 washes.

Reima Airy Kleidung
Die neue Reima Airy Kleidung ist locker und luftig geschnitten, damit Dein Kind die Sommerbrise spüren kann. Unsere Airy-Kleidung basiert auf der Wärmeleitfähigkeit von Polyamid. Sie ist sehr gut, was bedeutet, dass sie die Wärme von der Haut Deines Kindes wegleitet und ihm hilft, sich an heißen Tagen kühl und wohl zu fühlen.
Reima Kühlung
Unsere Cooling-Kollektion wirkt Wunder, wenn es darum geht, Kinder im Sommer im Freien kühl zu halten. Die auf essbaren Süßstoffen basierende Kühltechnologie absorbiert Wärme, wenn sie auf Körperfeuchtigkeit trifft, und kühlt die Haut von Kindern beim Schwitzen um bis zu 1-3 °C.
