Meet the new Kotilo snowsuit – made with the same puffy material you love, warm and comfy for little ones. To boost its functionality, we used special Seawool® fibers containing recycled oyster shell powder. And because the waterproof fabric is breathable, your toddler won't feel clammy while enjoying the snow.
Seafood waste turned into warmths
Here's how we turned the tables. We took oyster shells left over from restaurants, powdered them into nano-scale pieces, and wove them into our innovative Seawool® fabric, together with recycled polyester. The result is a unique material that delivers natural warmth and softness, repels water and wind, stays breathable and durable - while giving waste a new purpose.
